Aisha Warner, LMHC, NCC
Aisha is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. She received her Master of Arts in Counselor Education with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of South Florida after graduating from University of Florida with her Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
She has experience working with individuals, couples and groups with issues ranging from depression, anxiety and identity formation to substance abuse, trauma, sexual assault and grief. She practices an integrative approach to therapy which includes mindful awareness of the relationship with your mind and your body. She utilizes a range of evidence-based techniques designed specifically for each individual’s needs. She incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy psycho-educational tools to assist in the identification of one’s thoughts, behaviors and emotions, and combines them with meditation and mindfulness techniques to help create a healthy balance that promotes mental stability.
She believes in meeting the client right where they are and going at their pace. Aisha recognizes that effective therapy respects the individual’s beliefs and spiritual values; therefore, she only asks that you bring your authentic self into the room. It is her hope to provide a space for you that is collaborative, supportive and safe. She is here to explore the events that brought you to your current state, and assist in the navigation of life’s challenges.
Aisha is currently completing Yoga Teacher Training at St. Petersburg Yoga. Her goal is to become a Registered Yoga Teacher, offering workshops, retreats, and community service initiatives utilizing mind-body work.
